Young World by Ruth Inc. is a newly established online handmade children’s clothing store for individuals looking for inexpensive yet beautiful well-made clothing to suit their children’s needs.

We strive to provide high-quality clothing, created to withstand the wear and tear of childhood while maintaining the vision of childhood innocence.

Young World by Ruth Inc. is owned and operated by Christen Young. From her earliest days, Mrs Young invariably displayed a passion for children, and all things sewing and craft related.

​

Mrs Young has 7 years of customer service experience in retail. She has kept various jobs. Her favourite job was working as an assistant manager at a popular fabric store.

For twelve years, Mrs Young has been working towards starting a business that would align with her passion for sewing and children. Through research and dedication, she has gained insight into the industry and what it would take to run a successful children’s clothing store.

She named the business Young World by Ruth for many reasons. The sentimental value is the main reason. It is a representation of her name. Ruth was the name of her great grandmother, as well as her middle name. Her grandmother was also an amazing seamstress and who her family says she inherited her sewing talent and love of sewing from. Young, her surname she chose as a play on words to hint at the business being geared towards children.

Christen recognised with the growing rate of births in the country, and to a greater extent, the world, reasonably priced, quality children's clothing stores is always in demand.
   
Young World by Ruth’s Mission Statement is: To provide unique, high-quality clothing for children in various colours, sizes and styles to accommodate varying weights, ages and styles and to withstand the wear and tear of childhood while maintaining the vision of childhood innocence.
