Meet the maker
Hello, I’m Ruth, the founder and maker behind Young World by Ruth.
This brand was born from something deeply personal to me. As a child, I often struggled to find clothing that felt modest, age-appropriate, and truly designed with childhood in mind. Many options felt too mature, as though growing up needed to be rushed.
Those early experiences stayed with me and continue to shape the work I do today. Every piece I create is designed to protect the innocence, comfort, and freedom of childhood. I sew each garment in small batches in New Brunswick, Canada, using thoughtful fabrics and playful details that allow children to move freely, express joy, and simply be themselves.
