1. Opening Orders & Reorders

Opening Order Minimum: $750 CAD
Reorder Minimum: $300 CAD

All orders must meet the stated minimums before production begins.

Young World by Ruth reserves the right to review and approve all wholesale accounts.

2. Pricing & Payment Terms

Wholesale pricing is set at approximately 50–55% of suggested retail pricing (SRP).

Payment Structure:

• 50% non-refundable deposit due upon order confirmation
• Remaining 50% due prior to shipment

Production will not begin until deposit is received. Orders will not ship until final balance is paid in full.

Accepted payment methods:

• E-transfer (Canada)
• Invoice payment (card accepted)
• Wire transfer (international)

All prices are listed in CAD unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Production & Lead Times

Young World by Ruth is a small-batch studio.

Standard production lead time is:
4–8 weeks from receipt of deposit.

Lead times may vary during peak seasons (Holiday, Easter, etc.). Buyers will be notified in advance of any changes.

4. Shipping & Duties

Shipping costs are calculated at time of fulfilment and added to the final invoice.

For US and international retailers:

• Duties, customs fees, and import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.
• Young World by Ruth is not responsible for customs delays.

Risk transfers to buyer once order is shipped.

5. Suggested Retail Pricing (SRP)

Retailers agree to maintain the suggested retail pricing (SRP) provided in the line sheet.

Products may not be discounted more than 15% without written approval from Young World by Ruth, except during store-wide seasonal promotions.

This protects brand integrity and retail relationships.

6. Online Sales & Image Usage

Retailers are permitted to sell Young World by Ruth products:

• In-store
• On their own website
• Via their owned social media platforms

Products may not be sold on:

• Third-party marketplaces (Amazon, Etsy, eBay, etc.)
• Discount flash-sale platforms

Official product images may be used with proper credit:

Brand voice and product descriptions may not be altered in a way that misrepresents the product.

7. Exclusivity

Geographic exclusivity may be considered for brick-and-mortar retailers based on:

• Order volume
• Market size
• Brand alignment

Exclusivity is granted at the discretion of Young World by Ruth and must be agreed upon in writing.

8. Cancellations & Changes

Orders may not be cancelled once production has begun.

Changes to confirmed orders must be submitted in writing and approved prior to production.

Deposits are non-refundable once production has started.

9. Returns & Damages

All wholesale sales are final.

Retailers must inspect shipments upon arrival.

Any damage claims must be reported within 5 business days of delivery with photographic documentation.

Approved claims may be eligible for replacement, repair, or credit at the discretion of Young World by Ruth.

10. Product Variations

As all garments are handmade in small batches:

• Slight variations in fabric placement may occur
• Colour tones may vary slightly due to screen settings
• Minor variations are not considered a defect

This is part of the handmade nature of the brand.

11. Brand Representation

Retailers agree to represent Young World by Ruth in alignment with:

• Heirloom positioning
• Slow fashion values
• Premium price point

Products must be displayed and marketed in a manner consistent with the brand’s image and quality standards.

12. Agreement

Submission of a wholesale order and payment of a deposit constitutes agreement to these terms and conditions.

Young World by Ruth reserves the right to update wholesale policies at any time.
