Shipping policy
Processing Time: We process all orders within 5-14 business days. We do not ship or deliver orders during weekends or holidays.
Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates: At checkout, the system will calculate and display shipping charges for your order. Estimated delivery time is 3-7 business days.
Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking: You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes: Young World by Ruth Inc. is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
Damages: Young World by Ruth Inc. is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
International Shipping Policy: We currently ship outside Canada and the delivery time may vary depending on the destination’s customs process.

Lost Packages Policy
Limitation of Liability for Lost Packages
Young World by Ruth Inc. takes great care in processing and shipping your orders. However, once Young World by Ruth Inc. relinquishes a package to the shipping carrier, they are not liable for any packages that are lost in transit.
Carrier Responsibility: The responsibility for the package transfers to the shipping carrier once it leaves our facility. We encourage customers to use tracking and insurance options provided by the carrier for added protection.
Customer Support: While we cannot assume liability for lost packages, our customer support team is committed to assisting you in resolving any shipping issues with the carrier.
Reporting Lost Packages: If you believe your package has been lost, please contact us within 7 days of the estimated delivery date. Provide your order number and tracking information so we can investigate the matter with the shipping carrier.
Investigation Process: We will initiate an investigation with the carrier to locate your package. The investigation may take up to 14 business days. During this time, we will keep you updated on the progress.
Recommendations: We recommend keeping a close eye on your tracking information and contacting the carrier directly if you suspect your package is lost.
Preventative Measures: To prevent lost packages, please ensure that your shipping address is correct and up-to-date at the time of your order. We also recommend choosing a shipping option with insurance and tracking capabilities for added security.
Damaged Items Policy
At Young World by Ruth Inc., we are committed to ensuring that your products arrive in perfect condition. However, in the rare event that you receive a damaged item, we ask that you follow these steps:
Reporting Damaged Items: Please report any damaged items to our customer service team within 48 hours of receiving your order. Include photographs of the damaged item(s) and the packaging it arrived in, as well as your order number.
Assessment: Our team will assess the damage and determine if it occurred during shipping or due to a manufacturing defect.
Resolution: If the damage is deemed to have occurred during shipping, we will file a claim with the shipping carrier on your behalf. If the item is found to have a manufacturing defect, we will provide you with a replacement or a refund.
Return of Damaged Items: In some cases, we may request that you return the damaged item to us for further inspection. Young World by Ruth Inc. will cover any return shipping costs.
Time Frame: All claims for damaged items must be made within 7 days of the delivery date to ensure timely processing.
