How Custom Orders Work

Custom garments are created through a guided process to ensure clarity, care, and the best possible outcome for your piece.

  • You’ll receive a personalised quote and payment link

  • Once payment is received, we’ll begin creating your garment

Custom Order Guidelines

📆 Processing Time

All custom garments are handmade in small batches in New Brunswick, Canada. Please allow up to 14 business days for processing before shipment. Rush requests may be available on a limited basis.

👗 Styles Available

Custom orders are available for select styles from the Young World by Ruth collection. Please reference the style you’re interested in when submitting your request. If you have something special in mind that’s not listed, we’re happy to hear about it!

🎨 Fabric Choices

Fabric options vary by season and availability. If you have a specific colour, print, or fabric in mind, please include it in your request and upload any inspiration images.

📏 Sizing

Accurate sizing helps ensure the best possible fit. Please provide accurate sizing based on your child’s age or clothing size (e.g., 12-18 months, 2T, etc.). For best results, include any special measurements or fit preferences in the “Special Requests” section.

💳 Pricing & Payment

Pricing varies based on style and materials. A personalised quote will be provided before work begins. Custom orders are final sale.

After reviewing your request, we’ll send you a quote and invoice via email.

A 50% down payment is required before production begins, with the remaining 50% due on completion.

Once payment is received, your custom order is officially in the queue!

💨 Rush Orders

Rush orders may be accommodated in limited circumstances, depending on current production capacity. A flat, non-refundable rush fee of $35 CAD applies to approved rush orders and covers priority production. Availability and timelines must be confirmed prior to acceptance.

🔄 Changes & Cancellations

Minor changes may be requested within 24 hours of submission.

After 24 hours, we begin sourcing materials, at which point changes may not be possible.

Custom orders are non-refundable, but we’ll work closely with you to make sure you love your final piece!

📦 Shipping

All regular custom orders are shipped via Canada Post Expedited. All rush orders are shipped via Purolator Express or UPS. You’ll receive a tracking number once your order is complete and on its way.
